UNO Names Patti Edwards Employee of the Month for August

Patti Edwards, a Clerical Assistant III in the College of Business Administration, recently was named UNO’s Employee of the Month for August.
The “Prize Patrol” team surprised Patti with the news on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016.
Describes as the heartbeat of the Undergraduate Advising Office in the College of Business Administration, Patti was nominated by her peers for her adaptability, communication skills, and knowledge of the job.
They said, “Not only does Patti perform the tasks of running the front office, greeting students, organizing advisors’ schedules, and way too many other things to name, but she does so by greatly surpassing expectations. Patti is a fantastic first contact in the office, providing assistance to each student with a friendly smile and clear, well explained answer to any question asked.”
They continued, “Patti has the front office organized in such a way that any item can easily be found. She has molded her role to one that provides clockwork organization in the office, and she performs each task exquisitely.”
As Employee of the Month, Patti will receive a certificate, lapel pin, hot/cold tumbler, portrait, monetary award, two tickets to a UNO sporting event, and use of a designated parking space. Please contact the Office of University Communications (4-2358) for additional details.

Human Resources announced the updated Employee of the Month – “Oh” Award for “Oh, what a difference you make!” – program for UNO staff members.
