On Monday, July 18, 2016, the newest addition to the Milo Bail Student Center will open on the first floor. Hours will be 7:30 A.M. – 2:30 P.M. during the summer.
This new area will include a brand new ice cream station where Mavericks can purchase their favorite flavor of ice cream, milk shakes, malts and more. A familiar face, the convenience store, will return to the first floor where you can stop in and pick up candy, chips, pop and try out our new slushy machine. F’real blended drink machine will be coming soon! Additionally, there will be a variety of specialty coffee options for those looking for a caffeine fix.
In August, the new convenience area will feature a brand new salad station with two types of lettuce mixes, 16 varieties of toppings, and homemade dressing options. This later date will also bring a variety of grab and go breakfast sandwiches and lunch items.
“We are excited to open this new experience for the students, faculty, and staff,” said Food Service Manager, Wyatte Stuard. “We wanted to feature a location for those on-the-go looking for delicious options.”
