It was a special year for UNO in 2013 with countless events, achievements, special guest visits and national recognitions for students, faculty, staff and alumni.
One major step for UNO in 2013 was the unveiling of a new website design for the www.unomaha.edu homepage.
Redesigning what is essentially the front porch to the campus required efforts dating back to the previous year, including the look, feel and function of a site that needed to be user friendly, helpful and stay true to the Maverick brand. Efforts were led by the Office of University Communications and Information Services, including the creation of UNO's first staff positions dedicated entirely to website design and communication.
Now in Phase 3.0, the website has grown to include several other key sites, including Academics, Admissions and Student Life, as well as individual college pages with the goal of strategically moving over each of UNO's colleges and major organizations.
The response to the updates already made have been overwhelmingly positive with only greater things in store for 2014.
