These nine lists were compiled and illustrated by UNO book arts student, Monica Brasile. Hand set in Optima, Joanna, Waverly, and Bembo italic type, the lists and lino cuts were printed on Biblio paper and sewn into Sudare Olive wrappers with a cut flap for closing. guard into covers of Indian Rag and Tea covers. A three-color
print is sewn to the guard in the center of this book. 23 pp.

The featured poem, a response to the title question often asked of waitresses, is accompanied by two quotations about waitressing and food. Illustrated with three linocuts of apples and two photoengraved reproductions of Coornhert's 1551 engraving "Eve Offering Adam the Forbidden Fruit." Printed from Scotch Roman and Goudy type on Indian tea paper with green and red inks and some hand coloring. The edition of 50 copies was produced in two states: menu, with the pages cut and inserted into a protective bi-folded menu holder; or bi-folded as one sheet (as shown here) and inserted into an acetate envelope. 6 pages. 10 7/8 x 8 1/2 inches. 1995.

event organized by Tanzlust, Inc, with assistance from the UNO
Women's Resource Center and funded in part by the Nebraska Arts
