Gothic by Vinnie-Marie
D'Ambrosio
This is a colorfully narrative poem by New York poet Vinnie-Marie
D'Ambrosio lavishly illustrated with complex and playful woodcut
prints by Karen Kunc. Inspired by the real home of painters Diego
Rivera and Frida Kahlo, this tale creates a rebirth of life through
the grand feast day of death, el Diá de los Muertos. The
book visually creates a life-size calavera for vertical display.
Printed from 10 pt. Garamont light types and multi-color reduction
woodcut on Frankfort cream paper, folded accordion style into
a black paper slipcase. 4 x 8 inches folded, 10 feet x 8 inches
