There are two ways to add information into the Web Editor:
- The easiest is to type the information directly into the editor. The Web Editor has many of the formatting features found in a word processor.
- The other way is to copy and paste information from a word processor. However, browser issues can occur in doing this. (In the browser, use CTRL+C to copy or CTRL+V to paste.)
- There may be issues with special characters like quotes. Special characters are commonly displayed as a question mark. When pasting text into the Web Editor, look over text carefully prior to saving the entry.
- When pasting into the web editor from Microsoft Word, use the Word Paste button to reduce errors.
Important Note: The Macintosh OS X operating system does not support the ability to use a Rich Text Copy and Paste function on the web. When copying text from a word processor that has such formatting as bold, underline, and tables, and then pasting into myMAPP, all words copy and paste correctly, but the formatting is removed. As an alternative, it may be better to attach a file to an entry.
