Feedback is a feature that allows a reviewer of a view to provide an objective critique on an owner generated artifact, reflection and/or view. A reviewer is notified of views being shared by
- Receiving a Lotus Notes email indicating that a view is shared and
- Receiving a message in the Message Summary screen of myMAPP/faculty.
Accessing a view
- The Lotus Notes inbox of the person receiving feedback displays an email indicating feedback is complete. This email includes a link to myMAPP/faculty.
- The log in page of myMAPP/faculty is displayed.
- Log into myMAPP at http://myportfolio.unomaha.edu using your UNO Net ID.
- On the Messages screen locate a message indicating that a faculty member has shared a view with you. Click the title link in the message to access that view.
OR
- Log into myMAPP at http://myportfolio.unomaha.edu using your UNO Net ID.
- On the Messages screen locate the message that a faculty member has shared a view with you. Click the title link in the message to access that view.
- The faculty member’s Annual Review View or Goals and Objectives with the Give Feedback button is displayed and can be reviewed. If no Give Feedback button appears, faculty have not given feedback privileges.
Giving feedback
- Click on the Give Feedback button at the top of the view displayed.
- A new window will open. Type feedback in the text box. You can also copy and paste feedback from a word processing document.
- When finished, there is an option to have the feedback delivered on a specific date or on the same date. If the feedback is to be delivered on the same date do not select a Delivery Date. If the feedback is to be delivered on a future date, click the Calendar icon and choose the date for delivery.
- In accordance with AAUP guidelines and/or administrative policies, faculty is required to acknowledge feedback related to Annual Review and RPT. If feedback is not required, deselect the Require Acknowledge check box.
- When finished, click the Send button.
- Repeat these steps for each view that requires feedback.
Drafting feedback
Steps 1 through 4 can be completed. Instead of clicking the Send button, click the Save as a Draft check box which saves the feedback for editing and sending at a later time.
Retrieving draft feedback
Feedback previously drafted can be retrieved in order to review or edit before sending by:
- Click on Views Shared with Me in the Navigational Panel.
- Click on the title of the view that has the draft feedback.
- A summary of the shared Annual Review is displayed. Click on the Feedback button. Caution: do not click on the Give Feedback button.
- The first few words of all feedback messages will be displayed. Those in draft form will display (draft) by the name of the editor.
- Click on the Edit button.
- Previously drafted feedback will appear in a separate window.
- Review and/or add additional feedback.
- Click the Save button.
- A message indicating your feedback has been sent will be displayed.
- Close the feedback window.
