Regents Approve Fees to Support Distance Education

In April, the University of Nebraska Regents approved a system-wide distance education course fee of $60 to be charged to each student enrolled in a distance education class. At the same time, new variable nonresident distance education tuition was also approved. Both the fee and the non-resident DE tuition will be implemented with the start of the Fall 2003 semester. Funding from these fees will be used to support and maintain distance education programs, as well as, expanding the quality of education, and level of service distance education students receive at UNO.
