Service to the Community

The several hundred Seven Days of Service volunteers were spread out last week throughout the Omaha and Council Bluffs communities. UNO students, faculty and staff along with North High School students and faculty fanned out to contribute their time to such organizations as the Salvation Army, Lauritzen Gardens, Habitat for Humanity, Turning Point and Catholic Charities. Their work included painting, pulling weeds, spreading mulch and building houses.
