Mavs Beat Gorillas in Overtime

The Maverick football team improved its record to 6-4 with a 31-28 overtime win Saturday (Oct. 31) over Pittsburg State. The dramatic win came with a Greg Wunderlich six-yard touchdown pass to junior Mike Higgins. UNO freshman Levi Terrell carried the ball 28 times for 199 yards in the game. UNO closes out the season this Saturday (Nov. 7) at Missouri Western.
