Mavericks Honor Marlin Briscoe

Former Omaha University quarterback Marlin Briscoe was honored Saturday (October 24) at the Mavericks vs. Central Missouri football game. Briscoe, who played quarterback for Omaha University, was later drafted by the Denver Broncos. Briscoe's jersey was retired and his name was added to outside of the press box at Al Caniglia Field. The Mavericks lost Saturday's game 49-31 to Central Missouri. UNO hosts Pittsburg State on Saturday, October 31, at 1 p.m.
