Soccer Wins Two Home Matches

The Maverick soccer team improved their record to 2-0 in conference play following Saturday's (9-12) 4-1 victory over Truman State. On Thursday (9-10), the Mavericks beat Missouri Western 4-2 at the Chili Green's complex. UNO redshirt freshman Nicole Baier scored four goals and had two assists in the two games. She also was named MIAA offensive player of the week for the second week in a row.
