Students Donate Through Seven Days

For several hundred UNO and area high school students, spring break was spent giving back to the community. The seventh annual Seven Days of Service took the students out into the Omaha and Council Bluffs communities from March 14-20 to help build trails and clear dead trees at Lauritzen Gardens, build and paint several Habitat for Humanity homes, build a garage for the Stephen Center and help landscape the UNO campus. The student's labor was worth an estimated $95,000.
