The Sunday, March 9 game against Alaska was the longest game in UNO hockey history and the ninth longest in NCAA history. The Mavericks needed a triple overtime to beat the University of Alaska 2-1. UNO's J.P. Platisha scored the winning goal ... his first of the season. UNO now plays top-seeded Michigan this weekend in Ann Arbor, Michigan in a best of three series.
