Vehicular traffic didn't stand a chance Friday morning on several roads in western Douglas county. Scrib's Moving and Heavy Hauling of David City were busy moving a donated barn and silo to UNO's Allwine Prairie Preserve on 144th & State Streets. The barn, which was built in the 1880s, will be used as classroom and laboratory space at the site.
