UNO Flight Team Wins at National Competition

On May 23, the UNO Flight Team, pictured above, returned from the National Intercollegiate Flying Association National Championship in Terre Haute, Ind. Fourteen UNO students participated in the week-long event that included aeronautical knowledge exams, precision landings, planning and navigation, aircraft recognition and simulation events. This year 30 schools qualified for the competition, with approximately 350 students competing. View the UNO press release for complete competition results .
