Franklin Receives National Public Broadcasting Award

Robert Franklin, general manager of KVNO-FM/UNO Television and an assistant professor at UNO, received a My Source Education Innovation Award from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting March 20 in Washington, D.C.

Franklin, shown above with Corporation for Public Broadcasting CEO and President Pat Harrison, helped form the Omaha Kids Coalition, an award-winning public service project dedicated to integrating the efforts of nonprofit agencies serving at-risk youth.
