Cathy Bosiljevac, administrative tech I with Academic Affairs - Technology, goes out of her way to assist others and ensure tasks are completed correctly and on time. Co-workers applaud her efficiency.

"Cathy juggles many ITS managers' busy schedules and will coordinate meetings with people on all campuses and Central Administration in an efficient and considerate manner," a colleague wrote. "You can always count on Cathy to do things right."

Bosiljevac has served in her current position for the past five years and previously worked in the Office of Student and Academic Affairs. She said each day is interesting, as she experiences a wide variety of duties working with the many employees and student workers in Information Technology Services (ITS).

Among her favorite tasks is working with individuals in the university system and beyond. Co-workers said her interpersonal skills are one reason she excels at her job.

"Cathy is a skilled communicator, able to interact appropriately with all levels and departments within the university, and with external organizations as an ambassador for ITS to the campus and for UNO to the larger community," another nominator said. "She is respected and appreciated by the entire department for her fairness and efficient responsiveness."

Years of experience in the banking industry, as well as time spent as a stay-at-home mother to three children, helped Bosiljevac learn the importance of time management, conflict resolution, delegation and budget development - skills she finds extremely beneficial today.

When she is not busy on campus, Bosiljevac enjoys attending a book club and volunteers for several organizations. She is thankful for the benefits that come with the Employee of the Month Award, especially the reserved parking spot.

"I appreciate the recognition and kind words, and am proud to be a part of the UNO community," she said.
