UNO Honors Cancer Victims, Survivors

The Sapp Fieldhouse was transformed March 27 for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life event. The 12-hour remembrance and celebration raised more than $20,000. The UNO event, now in its third year, drew 28 cancer survivors and about 220 participants. The event was organized by Christine Geistkemper and other UNO students.
