Badminton Club Member Takes First Place

Pallav Deka (above), a member of UNO's Badminton Club housed in the Campus Recreation Sports Club program, recently won the singles men class competition at the Midwest Badminton Championship. Deka, a graduate assistant in the School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation's Exercise Physiology Lab, beat Ben Hussey, who is ranked sixth in the nation.
