Juvenile Diversion Training SeriesĀ

The Juvenile Justice Institute is working in conjunction with the Nebraska Crime Commission to sponsor the Nebraska Juvenile Diversion Services Training Series. In the first year, the Training Series will provide in depth training and technical assistance to juvenile diversion programs statewide. This will launch with a day and half conference on September 20 & 21, 2011 in Kearney, Nebraska, focusing specifically on gaining a deeper understanding of Evidence Based Practices (EVP) in relation to juvenile diversion. This conference will be followed by a minimum of six additional in-person or web-based trainings on topics ranging from assessment tools and case management to leadership and sustainability. When appropriate, community planning groups will be invited to participate in relevant topical trainings.
