Implementing Evidence Based Practices Workshop - September 22, 2008

Everyone is talking about the benefits of Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs). They are designed to increase efficiency and improve outcomes. More and more often policy-makers are tying funding decisions to EBPs. But, practitioners report that the actual implementation of EBPs is not as simple as it may seem. Effectively implementing EBPs into your practice can be a challenge. Join UNO’s Substance Abuse Training Initiative for this two-hour workshop where we will explore solutions to some of the biggest implementation challenges practitioners are facing.

The Implementing Evidence-Based Practices Workshop will be held on September 22, 2008, for 2:00 to 4:00 pm in Centennial Hall at the Thompson Center on the UNO Campus, 6705 Dodge Street, Omaha, NE. CEUs are pending. This workshop is offered free of charge, but seating is limited. Advanced registration is required. Questions? Contact Nicki Kennedy at nckennedy@unomha.edu or 402-554-3844.
