Biography Susan L. Schwartz

Susan L. Schwartz is Associate Professor of Religion and Co-Director of Asian Cultures and Civilizations at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA.

She has her Ph.D. in Religion and Culture from Syracuse University.

Her teaching and research interests focus upon the interaction of religion and culture, particularly in India. Courses taught include Religions of India, Religion and Performing Arts in India, The Feminine in South Asia, Religion and the Literary Imagination, Psychology of Religion, The Mystery of Magic, and Religions of Star Trek.
