Biography

Tod Linafelt

Tod Linafelt is associate professor of biblical studies at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.

He is author of Surviving Lamentations (2000), a commentary on the book of Ruth (1999), and a commentary on the Song of Songs (forthcoming), and editor of A Shadow of Glory: Reading the New Testament after the Holocaust (2002) and Strange Fire: Reading the Bible after the Holocaust (2001). He has contributed articles to numerous scholarly journals and edited volumes, including the Journal of the American Academy of Religion, the Journal of Biblical Literature, Zeitschrift für die alttestamentlichewissenschaft, Semeia, and Biblical Interpretation.
