Dr. Michael Karounos is assistant professor of English at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee. He has a BA from Miami University (1977), his MA from Roosevelt University (1994) and received his Ph.D. (Victorian) from Vanderbilt University in 2005.

He published a paper titled "Ordination and Revolution in Mansfield Park," SEL Studies in English Literature 1500-1900 (Vol.44, No. 4, Autumn 2004, Baltimore, MD: The Johns Hopkins University Press). He has also published papers in Age of Johnson: A Scholarly Annual (Brooklyn, N.Y: AMS Press, Inc. ), the Robert Frost Review (Hattiesburg, MS: University of Southern Mississippi Press), and in 1650-1800: Ideas, Aesthetics, and Inquiries in the Early Modern Age (London: Routledge)
