Kelly Denton-Borhaug

Rev. Kelly Denton-Borhaug, Ph.D., has been at Goucher College as Chaplain and Assistant Professor in Philosophy and Religion for five years.

She holds a Masters of Divinity with Honors from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. from the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley.  Her scholarly interests include Christian understandings of redemption, feminist theology and ethics, Jewish and Christian feminist ethics, Christian ethics regarding war, and college student spirituality. 

She worked as a parish pastor in San Francisco for six years, and before coming to Goucher College she held the position of Associate Dean for Religious Life at Stanford University for four years. 

At the end of this semester she leaves Goucher to begin a new position as a professor in religious studies at Moravian College of Bethlehem, PA.
