Kathryn Cox Schwartz joined the University of Nebraska Department of Philosophy and Religion staff in January 2001 as Secretary III and marketing and publications manager for the department as well as webmaster for The Journal of Religion and Film. She is also webmaster for the Department of Philosophy and Religion, International Third World Studies and Review and Native American Studies web sites. In addition to being managing editor of the Journal of Religion & Film she is also staff assistant for the department. In addition, she assists Native American Studies as possible. She received her bachelor of general studies degree in communication with a minor in Native American Studies and a secondary emphasis in public administration in May 2006 from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO). Currently, she is pursuing a project management certificate and a master's of communication degree at UNO. She and her husband, Guenther, who is retired, have two children. Elizabeth is staff assistant for International Studies of Programs at UNO, does Renaissance and Victorian costuming and is pursuing a master's degree in education with a concentration on museum education at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln (UNL). Christopher is a graduate research assistant at UNL where he is pursuing his Ph.D. in organic chemistry. In her free time she enjoys genealogy, the WWW,
computer work, and reading a wide variety of books. Her special love is India and had the opportunity to travel there once in March 2007 and a second time in January 2008. |
