NetID

The UNO NetID is your personal identification for using many UNO online services. Every student, faculty and staff member has a UNO NetID, which is composed of a username and password. Accounts using the UNO NetID are automatically generated after a student has enrolled for at least one course or has attended student orientation, or after faculty/staff have been hired, or Active Faculty are listed in the faculty workload of SIS as the instructor of record. Click here for details.

You need your Personal Identification Number (PIN) and your NU ID number to look up your UNO NetID username and to set your UNO NetID password. These are the same numbers you use for class registration on E-BRUNO.

• PIN information can be found here.
• UNO NetID username lookup can be found here.
• UNO NetID password set and changes can be done here.

Transferring students, faculty and staff - If you are transferring from another University of Nebraska campus and want to have a UNO NetID account, you should contact the Information Technology helpdesk at the campus from where you are transferring and request they delete your account at that campus. Once that account is deleted, a new UNO account should be created automatically. Contact information for the various NU Campus IT Helpdesks is here.

Some of the frequently accessed services that use the UNO NetID are: myUNO/myBlackboard; myMail; myFolder; myWeb; webOffice.
