surveys.

UNO, as Nebraska’s metropolitan university, is committed to measuring our progress toward our three overarching strategic goals: (1) UNO will be recognized as a student-centered metropolitan university; (2) UNO will be recognized for its academic excellence as a metropolitan university; and (3) UNO will be recognized for its outstanding engagement with the urban, regional, national, and global communities. Surveys of faculty, staff, and students provide the foundation for reflection on climate and the academic experience at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. These surveys provide critical information for all university strategic planning efforts, assessment of student learning outcomes, and on-going evaluation of institutional effectiveness. These specific surveys were chosen or designed to provide the information necessary to evaluate specific objectives and progress toward goals.

The Office of Institutional Research coordinates and analyzes most campus-wide surveys. For more information on how the data are used, see the website Academic Affairs-Assessment. The UCLA Faculty Survey Fall 2004, the FSSE Survey Spring 2005, and the NSSE Survey results are available upon request for campus internal improvement purposes. Please contact this office for further information.
