What is Impact?

The Impact Movement is a movement of believers committed to making an impact on our community and the world.

Our Theme Verse for Impact 2006:

"...Awake sleeper, and Arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you." - Ephesians 5:14

How long has Impact been at UNO?

• Since 2003... we've been around a few years.

What does Impact believe?

• The sole basis of our beliefs is the Bible, God's infallible written Word, the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments. We believe that it was uniquely, verbally and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, and that it was written without error (inerrant) in the original manuscripts. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters on which it speaks.

What does Impact do?

• Lots of things!
• We have weekly Bible studies throughout the school year.
• You might see us out talking to people on campus about the love of Jesus Christ.
• Impact is committed to the fulfillment of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19).
• Watch out for "Random Acts of Kindness!"
• Fellowship
• Just like most organizations on this campus, we take a great interest in food.
• Movies, Games, Outings... we like to have fun. :)
• Conferences, Retreats, ILI's
• Every year we alternate either a national conference or a regional one.
• Through our regional Impact chapters as well as our sister organizations in Campus Crusade for Christ, we have many retreats throughout the year, some for men, some for women, and some for everyone.
• For those who take an active role in leadership in Impact we have ILI's, or Impact Leadership Institutes together with other chapters in our region.
