The University of Nebraska offers a comprehensive package of employee benefits. The NU Flex employee benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, employee life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment, long-term disability, spouse life insurance, child life insurance, health care reimbursement account, dependent care reimbursement account, and long term care insurance for benefit eligible employees. In addition, the University offers a basic retirement plan that is matched by the University as well as a supplemental retirement plan and a deferred compensation plan. Eligible employees accrue vacation, sick leave and paid holidays according to the leave schedule.

The link below will connect you to the Blue Cross web site and the medical and dental provider directory. Follow the instructions that are provided to find a network provider or verify that your provider is in the network. The site will ask for the first three letters on your Blue Cross Blue Shield card, which are "UNE".

With the help of ITS, a brand new Mav-Rec Wellness Listserve has been created ! Since it is voluntary, people must go to the site and 'Subscribe' to the Listserve themselves.

You can spread the word to your co-workers if they would like to be on it. This will give us another tool to reach people on campus with our various wellness happenings.
