UNO 2007 Durango Days Service-Learning Project

August 24, 2007

The Service-Learning Academy and American Humanics organized four service activities for incoming UNO freshmen. The freshmen rode buses to four community agencies in Omaha -- Social Settlement, the South and North Omaha Boys and Girls Clubs, and Turning Point -- where they participated in these projects, which included painting, weeding, tree trimming, developing trivia games, and playing with children.
