The alphabetically organized list of theses completed by UNO's History graduate students is available on the Criss Library web page. To obtain that record, select History from the drop down list of departments (make certain that the "department" button is dotted). Clicking on the thesis title on that library web page will link the user to the Criss Library catalog. If the thesis was completed after 2008, the catalog page will provide a link to the on-line version of the research project. If the thesis was completed before that date, the library catalog will simply identify the book's location in Criss Library.Clio, one of the nine Greek muses, was later referred to as the Muse of History. A daughter of Zeus, Clio was highly regarded for her brilliant poetry and heroic acts. Her image usually includes a parchment scroll (an ancient source of record), a set of tablets (another ancient source of records), books, and/or a clarion (or trumpet). In her hair, she wears a laurel wreath. This sculpture of Clio is housed in the Vatican Museum. Sculpted by an ancient Greek artist, it was found near Tivoli in the ruins of the villa of Claudius.
