Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE)

The AASHE is an organization comprised of colleges and universities from the United States and Canada who share the common goal of promoting sustainability in all sectors of higher education. By being a member UNO can share its progress, see what other schools are doing, and access great sustainability resources. Interested in learning more? A membership to AASHE covers every individual at an institution. This means that any UNO Faculty member, student or staff member can create a profile to access information on AASHE’s site.

Midlands Education Sustainability Forum

This is an open forum that meets several times throughout the year at Creighton University. The goal is to exchange ideas about sustainability, and how to implement sustainable change at our respective Universities. Participants in the past have included:
