UNO Grad Student receives a Fulbright Grant

A graduate student from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) will get the chance of a lifetime this July as he travels to Uruguay as part of the Fulbright Teacher Exchange Program.

John White, a master's student in UNO's Master of Arts in Language Teaching (MALT) program, was awarded a grant that allows him to host Julio Barreiro, an educator from Uruguay, before traveling to the country later this year. This educational exchange is coordinated annually and offers a unique opportunity for educators from both countries to share teaching experiences, develop classroom methodologies and increase international understanding.
