How to apply for admission to the Goodrich Scholarship Program

Admission to the Program is based on application data, financial analysis, personal interview, references, and other estimates of motivation and potential success. All applicants must be residents of the State of Nebraska and citizens or legal non-citizens of the United States and must be eligible for admission to the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

A limited number of students with college credits are accepted as applicants each year.

Students who have earned more than 31 college credit hours by the date of acceptance at the end of May should not apply.

If you would like to apply to be considered for the Goodrich Scholarship Program, please fill out print, and mail or fill out and e-mail the information. Print two copies of the Personal Reference Form. If you would prefer a pre-printed set of application procedures and forms, call the program office at (402) 554-2274 with your request.

The application consists of 3 parts. You can print all or part of the application, as needed. The forms are in PDF format.

Part 1: Application Procedures details the application procedure and lists all of the steps and documents that must be followed or submitted in order to complete the application process. This part of the application should be referred to often as you work your way through the application process and a copy should be kept for your own record.

Part 2: Complete and submit the Application Form. The Application Form is available in the Goodrich Office and on the website between November 1 and February 15.

Part 3: The Personal Reference Form is given to the two individuals who have agreed to give you a reference. You should complete the top section of the two-page form and then give one copy to each of the persons to complete and submit to the program. Refer to the Application Procedures for the guidelines and submission deadlines.
