2013 gandhi award nomination form.

The 2013 Gandhi Award will be presented during the Annual Symposium slated for Friday, April 5, 2013.  This event will be held at the Metro Community College Institute for Culinary Arts.  The symposium will feature Deborah Altschul, Ph.D., Research Assistant Professor, University of New Mexico, presenting on the Issue of cultural competence in the field of mental health.

We encourage nominations of individuals or organizations that exemplify selfless service to society sustained over a period of time, social change through nonviolent measures, creative social action, and advocacy on behalf of populations at risk. To nominate someone go to the Award Nomination Form page. All nominations and supporting materials must be received by the School of Social Work by Friday, March 15, 2013. To nominate someone: please fill out the form below including a brief narrative describing why the individual or organization you have nominated should be selected for the 2013 Gandhi Award; or download and print the form and mail with supporting materials to the address below.
