About FOJ

Friends of Japan (FOJ) is the official student organization approved by the University of Nebraska at Omaha in fall, 1999. It is organized and run by active committee members. FOJ members include students, families and people from the community.

Our mission is to provide opportunities to meet people who have common interests, assist new students to adjust to the new life and exchange cultural experiences and information in both the campus as well as community environment. Our organization enhances the awareness of cultural diversity issues and introduces the harmony of interaction between cultures.
