Spring 2014 BASA Graduating Seniors Exhibition - Criss Library Osborne Family Gallery

Show ends: Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. (following the CFAM Commencement Reception)
Dates & Deadlines for Students
Confirm Your Participation by e-mail or in writing to Denise at the Gallery as soon as possible, but not later than Monday, March 31, 2014. (See below for specific information needed.)
Deliver Work to Criss Library Osborne Family Gallery:
Tuesday, April 8, 2014, between noon and 5 p.m.
The Osborne Family Gallery may be locked between noon and 5 p.m. when you stop by - go to the Office or Circulation Desk to be let in.
(Delivery between 5 and 9 p.m. on Tues. can be arranged IF YOU CALL the Library office - 402 554-2640 - BEFORE 5 p.m. to make arrangements to have the Osborne Family Gallery opened for you.)
Label information (see below) must be attached to the artwork.
Pick up Work after the show: 2:30 - 5 p.m. Saturday May 10 or Sunday, May 11, 2014 noon and 5 p.m.
The Osborne Family Gallery may be locked when you stop by - go to the Office or Circulation Desk to be let in.
Student Eligibility Requirements
Artwork Eligibility Requirements
All work must be produced while a student at UNO.
Only works not shown in a previous UNO Gallery exhibition are eligible for the exhibition.
Works must be selected with the approval of your studio faculty mentor.
Work must be assigned a sale price (preferred) or in not for sale, an insurance value. (Works labeled ‘por’ will not be accepted.)
The UNO Art Gallery retains a 20% commission on sale of all works, and the Gallery will handle sales.
Students may submit 2-3 works. Depending on size and number of students in the show and on space limitations, the Gallery may select only one or two of the submitted works to exhibit.
All work must be framed and ready to install.
Works that use paint or other materials that emit gas must be completely dry and odorless before installation.
Any electrical components or special exhibition needs must be pre-approved by the UNO Gallery Coordinator and the Criss Library Building Manager.
