INFORMATION

Wellness Stampede Advisory Committee Representative - Position Description

Length of Service: 2 year term

Meetings: No more than 3 per year (one Spring Semester, one Summer and one Fall Semester).

Time of Mtgs.: Usually what works best for the committee members. Often they are held on a weekday afternoon.

Role: Members of the committee include other representatives from various departments across campus who are determined to be vital to the function of the wellness program (The Wellness Stampede). Some of these include:

  • HPER,
  • Student Health Services,
  • University Affairs,
  • PKI,
  • Safety,
  • Human Resources,
  • Faculty Senate, and
  • Staff Advisory Council.
The members discuss and provide input on issues effecting The Wellness Stampede. Often, they will also help out with some of the special events sponsored by The Wellness Stampede.

They also serve as liaisons with their departments or other committees in order to help disseminate information about the program.

Co-Chairs: Campus Recreation's Assistant Director for Fitness/Wellness and the Graduate Assistant for Fitness/Wellness.

RESOLUTION 4042, 5/9/2012 : Campus Committees (a-i):

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following be appointed to Campus Committees as designated:

i. Wellness Stampede Advisory Committee  

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following name go forward as a two-year appointment, from 08/01/12 through 07/31/14, on the Wellness Stampede Advisory Committee, to replace a member whose term has ended:
Ronald Bartzatt, to replace Jan Boyer.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following be appointed to Campus Committees as designated:

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following name go forward as a two-year appointment, from 08/01/11 through 07/31/13, on the Wellness Stampede Advisory Committee, to replace Holly Miller, whose term has ended:
