Mail Delivery


First delivery begins at 9:00 a.m. Monday - Friday

Second delivery begins at 1:00 p.m. Monday - Friday

For your convenience you may drop off mail between 8:00 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. at the front window (EAB 106). It will go out the same day.

After hours you can deposit the inter-campus and outgoing mail in the inter-campus slot in the front lobby of the Eppley building (opposite the front elevator).

Shipping and Receiving

Shipping and Receiving processes all of the incoming express mail and ground packages from U.S.P.S. (United States Postal Services), U.P.S. (United Parcel Service), FedEx, DHL, Airborne and all other common carriers.

U.P.S. and FedEx incoming express mail is usually received by 10:30 a.m. Monday-Friday. All other carriers (USPS, DHL etc.) come in throughout the day.

Office Depot comes in through Shipping and Receiving and it usually processed for daily delivery by 12:00 P.M.

Business Reply Mail


All business reply postage and handling charges are billed back to each department. When you are designing a business reply envelope or post card, please call the Mail Services Manager at 554-2337 for the required format.

Express Mail for Department Use

USPS express mail leaves UNO at 9:00a.m. And 1:00p.m.
FedEx leaves UNO at 4:30 p.m.
UPS leaves UNO at 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
DHL leaves UNO at 4:30 p.m.

*All express mail needs to be processed at least 15 minutes before above departure time.

Bulk Mail


200 pieces or more of identical information qualifies as Bulk Mail, preferably in zip-code order. We label, fold, insert, sort, seal and meter mail.

Personal Mail

For all students, faculty and staff we sell:

Books of 20 stamps ($7.80)
Single stamps ($.39)
Rolls of 100 stamps ($39.00)
Post cards ($.26)
#10 envelopes ($.05)
Stamped envelopes ($.45)

We meter letters and packages for personal use and also send USPS express mail ($14.40 for the first 8 oz.). The express mail needs to be at the mailroom by 12:30 p.m. each day to ensure next-day delivery.
