CALL FOR PROPOSALS

American Democracy Project (ADP) Conference
June 7 - 9, 2007
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

After four years of national and campus activity, the ADP wants to assess how far they have come and what the next steps will be as they move forward in the preparation of citizens for our democracy.

ADP is seeking PRESENTERS for concurrent panel sessions. To submit a proposal for a presentation click here and complete the online proposal entry form. Proposals are due by February 5, 2007. However, we will begin accepting proposals and filling sessions beginning January 8, 2007. The earlier you send in your proposal, the greater likelihood that it will be accepted. Here is a complete description of the call for proposal process.

If your presentation is accepted a limited amount of funding is available through UNO ADP travel grant funds. Individuals who have papers accepted should follow the guidelines for those grants when submitting travel grant proposals.

• Analysis of the use of specific events
• Civic skills
• Issues in civic engagement
• How to undertake civic engagement
• Assessment
• Open topics

Please note: Some presentations may fit into several categories. When submitting your proposal, use the category that best describes your presentation. For more detailed information on these categories please see the attached document.
