Over $18,000 Awarded in Civic Participation Grants

The UNO Civic Participation Project has recently awarded its annual group of minigrants to UNO faculty members undertaking a wide variety of projects that seek to promote citizenship and civic engagement ranging from child abuse prevention to a jazz residency. The grants will provide over $18,000 in financial support to fourteen projects throughout the UNO campus during the 2007-08 academic year.
