Information Technology Services' Academic Partnership for Instruction (API) will offer two informative, hands-on sessions designed to help faculty and staff enhance graphics for classroom instruction, training, or marketing. All UNO faculty and staff are invited to attend.
Basic Photoshop CS3 - Tuesday, September 18, 10:00am - 12:00pm, Criss Library, Room 204 In this class attendees will become familiar with: the Photoshop CS3 Interface, Workspace and Toolbars; manipulating image layers; and basic graphic file types.
Optimizing Graphics - Thursday, September 20, 10:00am - 12:00pm, Criss Library, Room 204 This is a hands-on workshop to assist faculty and staff in refining images that are visually appealing, effective, and consumer friendly. Participants will cover basic image optimization techniques by Utilizing Photoshop C3. They will learn techniques to enhance, compose, and compress images for use in Printed Media, on video displays, and in web sites. The session will also provide training in COPE, ‘Create Once, Publish Everywhere’, the technique of refining a single ‘master graphic’ so it can be published to print and electronic media
