USPS Mail Pickup Time Change

The USPS, in trying to gain efficiency, has requested an earlier pick up time for collection mail at UNO. As it has been, all mail that came into Mail Services before 4:45 p.m. was posted and sent out the same day. With this request that time will change.

They are recommending a 4:15 p.m. collection pick up to ensure our mail is processed the same day. This will make it imperative to have all USPS mail to Mail Service no later than 4 p.m. This is especially true for Priority Express Next Day Delivery. All mail delivered after 4 p.m. will be post marked for the following business day. The postal service is struggling to meet their goals, and this is one small way that we can help them and meet our goals as well. Please prepare for this to take effect immediately.
