Nate Duggins Farewell Party Is Today
Please join the UNO Welcome Center in bidding farewell to Nate Duggins. He will be leaving UNO to take on new challenges at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colo. Please plan to stop by the Welcome Center to wish him good luck! Here are the details:

UNO Announces New Hires
The UNO Athletic Department announced Aug. 28 the hiring of Dr. Matt Beacom as the assistant athletic director of Performance and Lindsey Stineman as the department's director of Academic Success.
"We have added two high-quality people to our staff who can help us continue our successful transition to Division I," said Trev Alberts, UNO's Director of Athletics. "Dr. Beacom is in a new position, one with oversight of both athletic training and strength and conditioning. His experience is going to be a big asset to our student-athletes." Read more.

The Center for Faculty Development, The Teaching and Technology Center and The Testing Center are now all located on the fifth floor of Kayser Hall.
On Wednesday, Sept. 12, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., you are invited to stop by to tour the newly opened spaces, enjoy some refreshments and enter your name for a door prize.

Love to dance? If so, auditions for UNO's famed Moving Company will be held Sunday, Sept. 16, at 1 p.m. in the Dance Lab (Room 228) of the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Building.
Dancers do not need to prepare a solo.

Student Organizations/Leadership Programs (SOLP) is currently promoting UNO's Fall Leadership Conference, DIVERSITY RECONSIDERED. Faculty interested in having a SOLP staff member come and talk to students about this year's conference should email Barb Treadway-Janousek at btreadway@unomaha.edu.
Students must register for this event by the deadline of Wednesday, Sept. 12. Students who attend will get their money back on their Mav Card, facilitated through the Milo Bail Student Center Business Office after the conference is over. Please direct students to sign up at this link.
