The film features interviews with Carol Moseley-Braun, Jerry Butler, Margaret Burroughs, John Rogers, Bobby Sengstacke and Lalah Hathaway.

Baker shares the writing credits with the film's two producers, Barbara E. Allen and Dan Andries.
