Into the Time Capsule
Bennington Elementary students Joey Stevens and Jaiden Albright along with UNO student Caitlynn Gillaspie donned white gloves and helped UNO Chancellor John Christensen fill a time capsule that will be inserted into a wall of UNO's new Mammel Hall. More than a hundred items were collected for inclusion into the capsules at last Wednesday's (4-28) event. Included were a Maverick football jersey, a Chancellor's medal, a Durango bobblehead doll, a share of Berkshire Hathaway stock, two bottles of scotch and a package of Hostess Twinkies.
