This Week in Campus History
In mid-August of 1983, UNO's College of Continuing Studies hosted a brown bag luncheon in the Peter Kiewit Conference Center. The focus of interest at the gathering was a free film highlighting the Maximillian-Bodner Western art collection at Joslyn Art Museum. The film, titled "Maximillian's Journey," showcased sketches and paintings of the land and animals along the Missouri River in the 1800s, created by Swiss artist Karl Bodner. Excerpts from the travel journals of German Prince Maximillian, a naturalist and explorer, narrated the film.
