The Talloires Declaration
In an effort to create a sustainable campus, EC UNO would like to encourage UNO to become a signatory of The Talloires Declaration, a ten-point action plan for incorporating sustainability and environmental literacy in teaching, research, operations and outreach at colleges and universities. It has been signed by over 300 university presidents and chancellors in over 40 countries.
Information about the Talloires Declaration can be found at http://www.ulsf.org/programs_talloires.html
We are asking students, faculty, and staff of UNO, to sign our petition, which states our desire for the University to become a signatory.
The petition can be found at: http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/the-talloires-declaration.html
We would greatly appreciate you encouraging your UNO friends to sign the petition as well.
Thanks for your help!
